In all likelihood, you’ve heard of the Kindle by now. It has been advertised virtually everywhere and millions of people have already purchased one. The common sentiment concerning the Kindle is that it is a quality device that is great for people who love to read and who want to be able to store and thus “carry around” lots of books (at least virtually) so that they can access them whenever and wherever they want to.
The Kindle is a best-selling device and has been for the last few years. However, Amazon is constantly working to improve it. Recently, they added a high-contrast e-ink screen, which dramatically improves contrast, utilizing the much talked about E Ink Pearl technology. It is possible to just as easily read the Kindle outside in the sun as it is indoors. Unlike traditional computer screens, the no glare technology used on the Kindle helps to prevent glare. There have been some changes in the device’s fonts, particularly a few upgrades. The new fonts are darker and clearer.
