Black Friday is the name given to the Friday that immediately follows Thanksgiving Day in the US. It marks the start of the busy holiday shopping season, and is said to be the day that most consumers will start their Christmas shopping. Although the word “black” might give a feeling of negativity, in the retail world it refers to when a business begins to show a profit. Because many shops see a huge surge in business around this time of the year, it refers to the time when there books move out of the “red” into the “black.”

Cyber Monday is the online version of Black Friday. This is the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season online, and just mortar and brick retailers do on like Black Friday, online retailers offer many money-saving promotions and discounts on Cyber Monday to compete with the Black Friday savings at local shopping malls. Because shipping is sometimes an issue with online shopping, a large number of online retails also give free shipping along with the greatly discounted goods. Cyber Monday begins on the Monday following Thanksgiving, so therefore it falls three days after Black Friday.

In recent years, the term “Black” Friday has become more fitting as every year there are many incidents of violence and accidents occurring in shopper malls. Walmart seems to be the store that is most commonly involved, as shoppers riot to get their hands on the best Black Friday deals. In 2008, a Black Friday Walmart stampede left one person dead and a pregnant woman ended up in hospital. Aransas turned into what appeared to be a screaming herd of uncontrollable wild animals over some waffle makers that were on sale at $2 apiece. For this reason, and others, it is hardly surprising many shoppers are choosing to forego the Black Friday sales and are instead waiting until Cyber Monday to do their Christmas shopping in a peaceful and dignified manner.

Check out this video with important shopping tips:

Cyber Monday 2011 Statistics

Cyber Monday 2011 saw retail sales go up a whopping 22% over Cyber Monday in 2010. It is estimated that retail sales online reached a whopping $1.2 billion. As usual, the most popular items were tech gadgets with the iPhone, iPad and Android devices being the most sought-after. A survey conducted by the National retail Federation found that almost 10,000,000 American shoppers would purchase something online on the day of Cyber Monday 2011. Around half of them of them said they would shop from work during their lunch hour, and in the event that this would not be possible they planned to start their shopping immediately when they finished work.

Cyber Monday online shopping has become somewhat of a headache for bosses. Since Cyber Monday is not a national holiday, shopping online from work is the only alternative for many people; many of the best offers are in limited supply, and waiting until the evening would be too late to get the best bargains. Needless to say, most bosses are not too happy about this as they do not want to pay their workers to do personal shopping. Many bosses are finding ways to block Internet access to shopping sites on Cyber Monday, and although others don’t go this far they do carefully monitor their staff during working hours. It is estimated that 5% of bosses have actually fired a worker for doing their holiday shopping from work, although this is not necessarily a figure that relates only to Cyber Monday. Surveys have found that 55% of workers managed to make a purchase from work during Cyber Monday 2011.

Do not enter your credit card details on any site that does not have SSL security. You can check this by looking at the address bar in your browser.
Happy Cyber Monday Shopping!

Black Friday Deals 2011

There is no doubt that Black Friday is a day that is anticipated with glee by both retailers and consumers alike. Consumers benefit because they are able to purchase a whole range of goods from electronics to house furnishings for ridiculously low prices. Retailers take advantage of disposing of unsold inventory and because they make a huge profit by the end of the day, simply by the volume of sales.

Black Friday always falls on the Friday after Thanksgiving, and it is thought by many to be the start of the holiday shopping season. Of all the days annually that you can go shopping, this will be the busiest by far. A store can get a good idea of the Christmas profits from the year just from Black Friday alone. Stores typically open extremely early, many of them as early as 4 AM, and some will even open at midnight on Thursday. Many stores do not close until 10 PM on Friday night, and any bargains that are left over will be sold in sales that are extended to Saturday and Sunday.

“Black Friday” is so-called because it marks the day that retailers typically begin to see a profit for the year, and their annual books begin to turn “black” after being in the “red” for the first time during the year.

It is also thought by some that the term was made up by the police department in Philadelphia in 1966. Because the downtown roads were packed with traffic and people due to shoppers searching for Christmas bargains, it appeared like a black mass was enveloping the city. In 1975 the name “Black Friday” became widely used after reporters from Philadelphia wrote about it in local newspapers.

Tips to survive Black Friday

Unfortunately, over the years there have been a number of people who have been hurt and even fatally, due to stampedes on Black Friday. A small number of shoppers make the event potentially dangerous because they are so keen to get their hands on bargains; they overlook the fact that their actions could hurt other shoppers.

When shopping on black Friday there are several things you should do to make sure you enjoy the experience and stay safe.

In the days leading up to Black Friday, browse through the sale adverts in local newspapers and online, so that you know where to find the best prices for the items on your list. If you are only planning on going to one local store, make sure you know where the items are usually located, as this will save you time having to fight your way through the madding crowds.

Many people arrive at the shop where they hope to grab the biggest bargain several hours before the doors open. If you also want to get your hands on a super deal, unfortunately you will have to join them, so do arrive to the venue early and make sure you have warm clothes, and some sort of entertainment to keep you occupied while you’re waiting.

If you see people are becoming frantic and pushing and shoving to get the best deals, do not get involved. Although it is a shame to pass up something that has been discounted by $100, no deal is worth getting hurt for!

Black Friday Deals 2011 – Best Buy

According to a number of surveys, more than 50percent of shoppers reveal that they plan on spending their Black Friday cash on electronics. Videogames also feature highly on people’s shopping lists, which is good news for the electronics giant Best Buy who are one of the largest consumer electronic chains in the US and Canada. Many people will think of Best Buy first when they need all types of electronics such as laptops, smartphones, LCD TVs and other popular gadgets.

Best Buy is doing well at keeping crowds under control on black Friday, which is more than what can be said for many other stores. The company has a scheme which they call “Voice of the customer through the employee” program. The company says that all customer requests and problems will result in an employee going to your aid within 20 seconds. Needless to say this is excellent service that makes shopping on Black Friday and much more enjoyable experience at Best Buy stores.

If you want to get your hands on one of Best Buy’s “Doorbuster Deals” you should think about leaving your house soon after you have finished your turkey to join the early bird queue.

Walmart stores are often the scene of Black Friday scuffles, and violence, so remember to be on your guard and step back if things seem to be getting out of hand.

In 2011, the retail giant was offering a 65-inch Toshiba 1080p 120 Hz LCD TV for $998. This TV usually sold for around $1,500 in 2011.

The Kodak EasyShare C1550 16MP Digital Camera Bundle, which is a 5 x optical zoom digital camera, was available for $49 on Black Friday 2011. It usually retailed at $89.00.

The FinePix S3280 was on sale on Black Friday for $159. The usual price was $219, and that was already discounted.

An HP Compaq Black 15.6″ Laptop was on sale at $198, a saving of $100.

The Xbox360 4GB with Kinect Console was just $199.96 plus a $50 Walmart gift card.

A wide choice of DVDs started at $1.96, and 6V or 12V Ride-Ons which included Jeep Wrangler, X Games ATV or Barbie Jeep were just $99 each.

Young girls got excited about Barbie, Disney Princess and Bratz branded fashion dolls which were $5 each, around 35percent of the usual price.

A Paula Deen 20-Piece cookware set could be snapped up at $86.44.

Starting at midnight:

Goodyear Tires started at $59, and a Vizio 42″ 3D LED Wi-Fi HDTV was just $598.

The purchase of any smartphone (except the Apple iPhone) with a contract got you a $100 Walmart gift card.

As you can see there were many great Black Friday Deals 2011, in all the biggest stores. No doubt these will be repeated in 2012, and many more amazing deals will also be offered.

If you do not like crowds and hate the pushing and shoving that is inevitable on Black Friday, then do your shopping three days later on Cyber Monday, which is a version of Black Friday for online shoppers.

40% off…50% off…sometimes even more! It’s a shopper’s paradise. When and where will you see such bargains? Why you’ll see them most often at after Christmas sales.

After Christmas sales are the ideal time to save and to save big. Whether you are looking for a giant screen television, winter coat or just want to treat yourself to something special, the after Christmas sales can be the ideal opportunity for many shoppers.

The most important thing to understand is how to shop during the after Christmas sales to your best advantage.

It’s the savvy shopper who knows the difference between a bargain…and a bust.

Remember that just like most sales – items are only available until they are gone. This is especially true at an after Christmas sale. Items are truly priced to move when you see the great savings.

You can check out article about Christmas sales 2011 at ThePerfectToys.com guide. You certainly won’t be the only one out there trying to shop the after Christmas sales trying to get great bargains.

Our advice: Be the savvy shopper – be prepared for the crowds, get up early and have an extra dose of patience.

After Christmas sales are one of the busiest times in many stores but they are also the perfect opportunity to save save save! Your taking the time to attend the after Christmas sales can save you 50% or more on many items your family needs and wants.

Curb in impulse shopping at after Christmas sales. One of the most tempting things at these sales is that you’ll see everything at such great prices – you’ll probably want to pick up even more than you originally planned on it. This is what the store is expecting you to do and that’s how they make lots of money on these sales.

Please pay attention! Be the savvy shopper and plan ahead what you’ll purchase and make your exit once you’ve found what you’ve needed!!!

What to do if you find a great bargain and you’re tempted to get it?

Ask yourself if it is something your family truly needs and will use in the upcoming months. If it is just something fun or something you would categorize as a “want” them for many of us it would be easy to pass it by. But the after Christmas sales could be the ideal opportunity to pick up clothing, home goods, home furnishings, toys and other items your family could need.

Keep in mind: Many families have put Christmas bills on their credit cards so you may be expecting a big credit card bill in the next month. There’s no point in adding to that big credit card bill with impulse shopping on items your family simply won’t put to practical use.

What’s the biggest problem with the after Christmas sales?

Probably the crowds! There is no way to anticipate just how many other people will come out for the after Christmas sales. Lots of people love to find a great bargain and some even wait until after Christmas to make major purchases because they know the prices will be slashed even further than during the holidays. So it is best to anticipate a bigger crowd than a smaller one. For most of us being in a large crowd of shoppers can be a frustrating time so have an extra dose of patience.

You may wait in line for a long time. Or it may be a challenge to find a sales person to answer questions about an item because there are so many people looking to shop in the store. Remember that you are there because of the after Christmas sales and for many shoppers this is an ideal opportunity to save hundreds of dollars. You simply don’t want to let this pass you by. While waiting or having extra patience is not easy, keep your mind on this extra savings and your plans for what you’ll do with this extra savings.

Some of the most popular items during the Christmas season include electronics, toys and jewelry. You’ll find great savings on many of these items during the after Christmas sales. Keep in mind that January is traditionally considered a great time for “white sales” known for linens, towels and bedding – and many stores today start these sales early during the after Christmas sales.

If you want new towels or a new comforter for the guest bedroom, the after Christmas sales could be the ideal opportunity to spruce up your home and make everything look its best.

Most importantly, enjoy the after Christmas sales. In some families, attending the after Christmas sales is as much a part of a tradition of the holidays as the rest of the fun holiday activities. So go to your favorite stores and get ready to find some terrific bargains on items your family will enjoy in the coming years!

While Black Friday may have once been the popular day to look for bargains, Cyber Monday certainly offers some of the best online prices. The Monday after Black Friday, Cyber Monday has grown to gain global fame. Several online retailers, such as Amazon and BestBuy.com, offer online deals that cannot be found in stores.

Consumers take advantage of these Cyber Monday deals 2011 by shopping online instead of actually venturing to the store. This convenience prevents the need to wait in line and deal with undesirable crowds.

What’s more, most of the online retailers offer free shipping on this day. As a result, the trend is growing towards more shoppers seeking online deals rather than in-store prices.

Magazines and critics have labeled Cyber Monday 2011 as “the biggest shopping day of the year.” Websites are dedicated to providing consumers with all of the information necessary for them to take advantage of the Cyber Monday 2011 deals. Analysts have even stated that in terms of sales, Cyber Monday is usually the highest spending day of the year.

Cyber Monday originated in 2005 when Shop.org came up with the term. Marketers immediately hopped on the bandwagon and began advertising deals that would become available on the Monday after Thanksgiving. Many were shocked at the response, as Black Friday crowds were nowhere near their normal levels.

Consumers then looked to take advantage of websites that published the Cyber Monday deals ahead of time. For instance, CyberMonday.com was set up so that consumers had a quick reference to any deals that were of relevant interest.

For the most part, the Cyber Monday deals are most notable on the large-ticket items. For example, televisions, laptops and digital cameras are just a few of the items that are marked down substantially.

Clothing is also priced remarkably lower than normal. Some of the most popular retailers offering significant Cyber Monday deals include Old Navy, Kohl’s, Target, Amazon.com, Walmart, BestBuy, Apple and Sears. Nowadays, all of these retailers release dedicated advertisements beforehand so that consumers are fully aware of the discounts that are available.

In addition, consumers can subscribe to e-mail lists and receive notifications immediately after new deal announcements are released to the general public.

How have the Cyber Monday deals shaped consumer demand?

As stated earlier, sales volume has decreased substantially on Black Friday, as consumers would rather not wait in lines and deal with the hassle of getting up early. Analysts believe that one of the main attractions of the Cyber Monday deals is the fact that most items are offered with free shipping. This discount gives huge incentive for consumers to purchase items online rather than in the store since no additional costs will be incurred.

At the same time, consumers have to be quick to act on the deals, as stores can sell out of items rather quickly. To put this notion into perspective, one must consider that the transaction processing under an online order is much quicker when compared to a transaction at the actual register. The decreased time means that more items can be purchased at a faster rate, thus causing items to sell out much more quickly.

While the Cyber Monday deals usually do not require that one be up at the crack of dawn, consumers do need to be swift when hoping to guarantee a particular item.

Another notable impact Cyber Monday has had on the consumer market is that the Black Friday deals are now extended through the weekend. The original idea of Black Friday was to lure as many consumers as possible into the stores at a particular time. Basically, early bird discounts allowed those who put in the effort to get the best price.

However, since Black Friday deals are no longer as competitive as they used to be, deals are now extended throughout the whole weekend. In some cases, the same deals may be advertised on Cyber Monday if stores do not run out of stock. Ultimately, the existence of Cyber Monday really allows retailers to leverage their marketing tactics.

One must keep in mind that today’s consumer market still has shoppers that are not comfortable with the Internet. For the most part, these are the consumers that will continue to take advantage of Black Friday and neglect Cyber Monday.

Some economists do believe, however, that Black Friday may eventually no longer exist once the consumer market has fully transitioned to online purchasing. Until that time comes, consumers will benefit from the deals offered on both days. Retailers have and will continue, to continuously perform the necessary analysis to determine the optimal levels of inventory that must be kept on hand to meet consumer demand.

With the increasing popularity of the Internet, it comes as no surprise that Cyber Monday is one of the biggest shopping days of the year.

We wish you happy and safe Cyber Monday!

In all likelihood, you’ve heard of the Kindle by now. It has been advertised virtually everywhere and millions of people have already purchased one. The common sentiment concerning the Kindle is that it is a quality device that is great for people who love to read and who want to be able to store and thus “carry around” lots of books (at least virtually) so that they can access them whenever and wherever they want to.

The Kindle is a best-selling device and has been for the last few years. However, Amazon is constantly working to improve it. Recently, they added a high-contrast e-ink screen, which dramatically improves contrast, utilizing the much talked about E Ink Pearl technology. It is possible to just as easily read the Kindle outside in the sun as it is indoors. Unlike traditional computer screens, the no glare technology used on the Kindle helps to prevent glare. There have been some changes in the device’s fonts, particularly a few upgrades. The new fonts are darker and clearer.

The Kindle has gotten smaller! The newest models are about 20% smaller than they used to be. Reading comfort and ability, however, have not been sacrificed. The reading area has been left untouched, still measuring in at 6 inches. Along with its new smaller size, the Kindle has gotten a little lighter as well! Today, it weighs in at 8.5 ounces, which is a little less than 20% lighter than it used to be.

One of the coolest things about the Kindle is its battery. Charging the battery up only once will provide you with up to two months power, when the wireless is off. This is pretty incredible and allows readers to use the device worry-free. It won’t shut down or the battery constantly recharged because all of the power has been drained from it.

The ability to store many more books than a person could carry is one of the Kindle’s best, selling points. Individuals that purchase a Kindle device will be able to save up to 3, 500 books on it, which is a pretty incredible amount. The Kindle, essentially acts as a virtual library, allowing people to upload and store just about any book, they might remotely be interested in. However, even if a person didn’t store thousands of books on their Kindle, the ability to store 10 or 12 and carry them around virtually is much more convenient then doing so manually.

The books sold to Kindle users are generally significantly cheaper than if those same books were to be purchased as a hard copy. Because the content is read using the device, there are no printing costs! This helps to drive down the price. Individuals who purchase a lot of books would do well to purchase a Kindle and buy books at a discount. There are also numerous free books that individuals can download and read at their leisure.

Some people assume that because Kindle requires that people read books from a screen and not from a hardcopy version that it is less comfortable and desirable then reading a hardcopy book. People who have actually purchased and use the Kindle couldn’t think more differently. Many Kindle owners had that perception before buying one. Afterwards, many have raved about how easy and comfortable it is to read on a Kindle device. If you love to read books and would love to have instant access to them, without lugging a ton of them around, the Kindle may be perfect for you. Today, it is less expensive than it’s ever been which makes it a great time to buy.

Consumers are all over the bargains that become available around Thanksgiving. Black Friday was once the primary day for deals but Cyber Monday has now taken over as the biggest shopping day of the year.

How did this new shopping day come about?

It is actually quite simple, as the luxury of the Internet has created a new trend in shopping. Cyber Monday or the Monday right after Thanksgiving, features noteworthy sales and free shipping, making it the new preferred choice for consumers.

Several items are marked down on Cyber Monday but there are definitely more popular items that grab a customer’s attention. For example, laptop computers, digital cameras and television sets are the main items that consumers look to purchase on Cyber Monday 2011.

Specifically, there are a number of Cyber Monday TV deals that make customers’ jaws drop.

To put the sales into perspective, some retailers will offer televisions for as much as 50% off of the original price. With free shipping, these deals offer huge incentive for consumers to shop on this day.

It is believed that in the very near future, Black Friday will lose its luster. With more consumers utilizing the Internet to make their purchases, Cyber Monday will soon take over sole position as the biggest shopping day of the year. Retailers are noticing that sales volume is decreasing on Black Friday primarily since Cyber Monday has grown so popular.

When more consumers become familiar with technology and the convenience of shopping online, Black Friday will be eliminated altogether. Today, some of the deals offered on Cyber Monday are not even offered on Black Friday.

However, be aware: Marketers are looking to make the two shopping days mutually exclusive of each other in hopes of having the customers take advantage of both days.

It should be noted that retailers don’t have a high profit margin on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The idea is for consumers to come into the store and purchase not only the featured items but additional items as well. Ultimately, increased consumer activity will lead to a higher sales volume. Studies also indicate that if consumers go shopping at a particular store they are more likely to return at a future date.

What types of discounts are offered on Cyber Monday?

As stated above, some of the most notable deals are the Cyber Monday TV deals. Last year, the VIZIO SV470M 47-inch 1080p LCD television was on sale for $599. This deal was considered remarkable at the time. Some of the major retailers that offer Cyber Monday TV deals include WalMart, BestBuy, Target and Sears. It is important to perform the necessary price comparisons to determine the best deal at the time. Keep in mind that for high-ticket items, it is very possible that items run out of stock quickly.

Consider the time it takes to process a transaction over the Internet compared to the time it takes in the store. The speed of the Internet allows for transactions to be processed at a much faster pace. In addition, some of the items are shipped directly from the warehouse, thus eliminating the need for the wholesaler to ship to the retailer.

All of these factors allow retailers to pass cost savings on to the end consumer. However, certain items may be on sale for a limited time, sometimes just a few hours. Therefore, consumers still need to be active in checking the deals ahead of time to ensure that they are able to purchase the desired product.

What is the best way to take advantage of Cyber Monday sales?

The easiest way to stay informed is to sign up for a retailer’s mailing list. The retailer will then send updates on hot sales as they become available. When Thanksgiving rolls around, consumers should check their mailboxes frequently to see if they have received the Cyber Monday sales flyer. This flyer will list all of the featured sales, with the biggest cost savings listed on the front of the page. Usually, the Cyber Monday TV deals are on the cover of the flyer. Consumers should not hesitate to sign up for all mailing lists, as it will allow them to perform price comparisons.

To some, Cyber Monday is not a big deal …

To others, it offers tremendous savings at increased convenience since it is not necessary to go to the store, deal with lines and risk the possibility of a specific store being sold out …

However one thing is certain! Items sold online are shipped directly from the warehouse, meaning that there is a stronger possibility that they will be in stock. Evidently, Cyber Monday offers clear advantages over Black Friday. Personally, we think that it is only a matter of time before consumers stop shopping on Black Friday and make it a point to get on the Internet on the Monday after Thanksgiving.

Black Friday was always considered the biggest shopping day of the year. This understanding is no longer true. Cyber Monday or the Monday after Thanksgiving, is now regarded as the biggest shopping day of the year since sales on that day are higher than any other day.

What exactly is so enticing about Cyber Monday?

While items are marked down significantly, retailers also offer free shipping. In other words, consumers have no incentive to head to the stores, as they can get the same deals online at no additional cost. You can check out the external hard drive deals at MyExternalHardDrive.com guide. Some of the popular items that are on sale during this day include digital cameras, televisions, entertainment centers and laptops. Historically, Cyber Monday laptop deals have known to be ridiculous, with some models marked down as much as 60%. These laptop deals are not limited to generic models, as Hewlett Packard, Dell, Compaq and Apple are just some of the brands featured. I know you will find some awesome Cyber Monday Deals 2011 on laptops this year.

How can one become familiar with the upcoming Cyber Monday laptop deals?

It is actually quite simple, as retailers today do whatever necessary to ensure that consumers are fully aware of the bargains that will be available. Most retailers have separate online flyers that can be obtained by signing up for an e-mail list.

These flyers are sent out a few days before Cyber Monday, allowing consumers enough time to compare prices. The best sales are on the front page and most of the time the Cyber Monday laptop deals are emphasized on the front cover. These deals are only available for a limited time and in some cases one can only acquire specific items during a short time window.

For instance, some online deals are only available from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., similar to Black Friday. As a result, it is recommended that consumers looking to secure a specific item have access to a computer right when the deal is about to go live.

What type of Cyber Monday laptop deals can one expect?

In 2010, there were definitely some notable sales. For instance, the HP G26x was offered for $479.99. This unit came equipped with 4 GB of RAM and a 500 GB hard drive. It should be noted that this model was only offered at this price after one completed certain rebates. Some of these rebates were instantly recognized at the register, while others were mail-in rebates. Consumers should always be aware of the fine print on advertisements so that they are not surprised when the transaction takes place at the register.

Another Cyber Monday laptop deal form 2010 was a 13-inch MacBook for $849.99. When determining the value of these deals, one should research and find the price of the specific item at that given time period. If previous Cyber Monday laptop deals are compared to today’s prices, they might not seem as much of a bargain.

Why do retailers offer such ridiculous prices on certain days of the year?

It is actually a marketing tactic aimed at increasing sales volume. With Black Friday, consumers head into the store and stumble upon deals that they cannot pass up. The same logic applies to Cyber Monday. While browsing online, consumers may find sales that they didn’t spot on the advertisement. In addition to a specific item they may be targeting, consumers may grow inclined to purchase other items as well.

Retailers actually do not generate much profit on days like Cyber Monday and Black Friday.

However, research has indicated that shoppers who enter the stores (or websites) on these days are more likely to make another purchase in the future.

What type of Cyber Monday laptop deals will be available this year?

The only way to find out is to keep an eye open for the flyers that retailers will release ahead of time. It is usually best to subscribe to an e-mail list to receive the most up-to-date news of a particular retailer. Most websites have a text box on the front page by which one can enter his/her e-mail to become active on the mailing list. Consumers should also adjust their spam settings in case e-mails from a particular retailer are not reaching their inbox.

With Cyber Monday now the biggest shopping day of the year, many analysts believe that Black Friday will soon become inexistent. Eventually, the trend will be towards shopping online, as it can save considerable time. However, consumers should continue to take advantage of both shopping days since the sales are usually significant. Specifically, the Cyber Monday laptop deals offer huge incentive to purchase the advertised models.

As mentioned before, timeliness is critical, as most of the deals are not available during all hours of the day.

Even though Cyber Monday deals are available online, stores can still run out of stock and items can be available only for a certain period of time.

Are you ready for Black Friday 2011? As far as some passionate shoppers are concerned, they look forward to this day as much as they do to Christmas or the other winter holidays. Black Friday is known as one of the best days during the holiday season to find great bargains and shopping deals in the brick and mortar stores. It’s the perfect time to visit your favorite mall, stores or shopping center and get all of your holiday shopping done. We know you simply won’t want to miss Black Friday 2011 or Cyber Monday 2011, as you can save money!

What are some of the best Black Friday deals? New and hot deals pop up all the time. But we’d have to say that electronics will be one of the most popular categories. In recent years we’ve seen some very low prices on electronics like laptops, digital cameras, cell phones and plasma televisions. If your family or friends have always wanted one of these new and hot electronics, Black Friday could be the perfect day to save hundreds of dollars on your purchase. It’s the ideal opportunity for the savvy shopper who knows how to stretch their holiday shopping dollars!

Other popular Black Friday deals can be found in many categories, some can depend on what type of store you are shopping at. Our hottest tip is to look at some of your favorite stores and to remember what they are best known for. Are they known for children’s toys, electronics or home furnishings? Then you’ll probably find the very best bargains in those categories because they know their loyal shoppers will look forward to Black Friday bargains they can depend on. The other hot tip we’ll recommend is to look at some of the popular toys or latest gift ideas – and see which stores are offering these as their Black Friday deals 2011.

Don’t forget that your neighborhood “Mom and Pop” stores may also offer Black Friday deals, not only the big box stores you see in the mall. Black Friday has become so popular that many stores participate. Check with your favorite stores to ask if they will have special offers for Black Friday and you may be pleasantly surprised to discover that they do have some great Cyber Monday Laptop Deals as well.

How can you get the very best Black Friday deals in 2011? That’s a trick question – because for everyone those Black Friday deals are going to be different. Where you could be looking for an iPad, someone else could be looking for children’s toys or jewelry. There are many shoppers out there on Black Friday, looking for those great bargains but not everyone is looking for exactly the same thing. In some ways this is a relief – just imagine if you were all looking for the same thing! It would be very challenging and so many would be disappointed.

Try to organize your Black Friday shopping and remember to anticipate crowds and to be patient. Shopping on Black Friday is not your typical day at a shopping mall. The crowds may be two or even three times as large as they usually are. Some shoppers decide to get to the shopping mall or store extra early. One of the biggest challenges with this is that you will arrive when many, many people do – right at the start. But one of the benefits is that you arrive in the beginning where all of the merchandise is out and available – and you’ll have the most opportunity to get those Black Friday deals you’ve been drooling over in 2011. Especially if you want one of those hot or latest gift ideas, arriving early could be a good idea.

Doing all of your Black Friday shopping in one shopping mall, store or location would make things more convenient if this is possible. Sometimes it is not, you really want to go several different places. Today you can easily research Black Friday circulars and see the bargains, often doing this online to find the very best deals days or weeks before Black Friday. Taking the time to do this can help you find exactly what you want and mean that you find the very best gifts for family and friends.

Black Friday only comes once a year and you just don’t want to miss out on all the fun. This hectic, busy shopping day is one that many enthusiastic shoppers and bargain hunters look forward to all year long. While it can be busy and often a long day of shopping, you’ll smile when you realize the great bargains you find during your Black Friday shopping. Just as years before have brought great bargains and deals, we can only imagine what Black Friday deals will bring in 2011 and beyond. We wish you an amusing and enjoyable Black Friday – day of shopping and bargain hunting, so get ready to have fun and save a buck while you’re at it!

PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Move is a console bundle that combines both parts and software to play both. Players will thus be able to enjoy what both have to offer. Individuals who purchase this bundle will receive the console for the PlayStation 3, alongside a 320 GB hard drive configuration a, PlayStation Eye camera peripheral, DualShock 3 wireless controller, The Move motion controller and Sports Champions, a popular PlayStation Move game.

It’s possible for individuals who are interested, to download games from the PlayStation network to play on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Move. This can be done via the PlayStation’s 3 built-in WiFi. In addition to games, Blue Ray movies can be downloaded and played on the system as well.

PlayStation Move utilizes the gaming industry’s most advanced technology. The PlayStation Eye camera helps to make the participant’s motion gaming experience, a very accurate one. When playing Sport Champions, the player will find that their movements are extremely realistic and accurate because those movements are being recorded and processed in real time. Individuals that have grown tired of traditional remote-controlled video games and want to do gaming in a way that is more realistic and which makes participants of the players will want to consider PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Move.

There are other benefits associated with this particular game system besides it mimicking the real life actions of players, one of them being that the game requires kids or whoever is playing it, to be more active and physical. There is a general consensus that sitting in front of the television playing video games for hours on end, more often than not is not healthy. Childhood and teen obesity are real problems in the United States and many people contribute that problem, at least in part, to video games. The more video games a person plays, the less time they spend outside or being active. Games and game systems such as PlayStation Move force video game participants to be active. In order for individuals to successfully play the game they must do exactly that. Subsequently, they (and a child’s parent) get the best of both worlds. Kids get to play video games but they are also becoming more active in the process.

PlayStation uses Blue Ray. As a result, every game or video played on it is of exceptional quality. Individuals will be able to watch movies or play games in High Definition format. Blue Ray can store far more data than a CD, which allows individuals to save a lot more movies and/or games. In addition to Blue Ray, the following formats are also supported, DVD+R, CD-ROM, DVD-R, CD-RW, DVD-Rom and Discs.

Individuals will find that the PlayStation Network offers a great deal of value. It is possible to download and play movies, games and demos and even to talk with friends.

PlayStation Move uses a DualShock 3 wireless controller, which comes with the bundle. It includes pressure sensors and utilizes the rather impressive Sixaxis motion sensing technology. Natural movements are detected so that what’s showing on the screen is very natural looking and accurate. The DualsShock 3 controller can be played wirelessly and uses Bluetooth technology in order to do so.

The Sports Champions game which comes with the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Motion is a sports game that gives people the opportunity to move around and get active. The game is appropriate for both new players and those with some experience. Players will have the opportunity to play six games in all, with Gladiatorial combat and table tennis amongst them. There are a total of three game modes and nearly a dozen characters for players to choose from.

When a person orders the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Move bundle, they can expect the following, the PlayStation 3 320 GB system, the DualShock controller, Move controller, eye camera, AV power cord, USB and AV cable and the Sports Champions game.

If you are looking for a new way to do video games, consider PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Move. When bundled together and used in conjunction with one another, the systems are great for forcing game participants to be active. Failing to get an adequate amount of exercise can be harmful. People who play a lot of video games generally do not. Game systems such as PlayStation 3 and Move help to remedy this problem.

Hello readers of MyCyberMondayDeals.org. I believe that all of you are anxiously waiting for Black Friday and 2011 Cyber Monday deals on iPad. For any user that owns an Apple product, it is easy to say that it is worth the investment. Steve Jobs and his team at Apple, Inc., has been providing our economy with the most innovative and ingenious gadgets for years – and although Jobs has stepped down, Apple fans have no doubts that the new leadership will continue to provide our generation and the many generations to come with new and creative products.

Look for the best Cyber Monday deals 2011 on iPad online.

It is pretty much standard in all Apple products – once you pick one up; it is hard to put it down. That is the design behind each and every one of their products. However, one of their newer products, the iPad 2, is changing the way consumers view all products today; the new trends are smaller, thinner, faster, elegant, comfortable and lighter. These are just a few of the ‘bells and whistles’ that the new Apple iPad 2 has made official.

Along with this, the new dual-core A5 chip makes storage, usage and multitasking simple and efficient. This slimmer, sleek and lighter piece of technology has the same 10 hour battery life as its brother – the original iPad.

Different Activities for Different People
